My Name is Meret and I grown up countryside Zurich, Switzerland in a beautiful Little town called Eglisau. Surrounded from Farmers I am deeply rooted in Swiss Farmer Traditions and some of the beautifullest childhood memories are baking bread in the tiled stove, making fresh butter out of the fresh milk from the neighbours cows and in winter spending time with the neighbours grandma on the warm tiled stove and knit.

I think my Mom was often very happy to know me next door and to work at home in peace ;o)

It took me many years to become proud of my roots and to find my creativity. But in 2003 I picked up my knitting needles and didn't put them away anymore. In These years I learned many different knitting technics and one day I started designing knitting Patterns and giving Workshops. Most of my Patterns are inspired by traditions with a modern Twist.
